The Feature research team: Panchanathan, Henderson, Razdan, McCartney, and Rowe

The Feature Extraction and Analysis is the process of extracting appropriate features from the 3D data and creating a searchable database of indices. The output of Feature Extraction is both a set of Cognitive Pattern Primitives (CPPs) and complex features. The archiving and indexing system is to create methods to accurately and consistently search and retrieve shape data.
